About me

I am a time served artworker with a record within the artworking and creative market that spans nearly 12 years.

Over this time I have produced artwork for all the major multiples within the horticultural market and packaging sector and managed a prepress department. This has involved me in all aspects of prepress from artworking, impositions and platemating.

I have worked on blue chip client artworks from Nestles to Boots, Thorntons packaging to Homebase plant labels.

Within the horticultural work I have assisted in the design of artwork for printing, manipulated many thousands of images and set up scripts and actions to assist in the daily production of client designs.

My background is in almost every major artworking package on the mac from the Adobe family to specialising in Artpro and photoshop.

I am also available for consultancy work whether this is to assist in the setup of prepress/studio departments or looking at best practice within an existing department.

I have nearly 8 years experience of being involved in the running and setup of departments that span digital print, artworking and platemaking. Within this time the workflows were developed to assist in the growth of the business to the point that 3 people could handle nearly 4000 label artworks per quarter.
