Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to express my interest in obtaining an interview for retouching work on a Freelance temporary or permanent basis.
To introduce myself my name is Neil Aslett and have been working for a top pre-press company - Tapestry until very recently as a high end retoucher using photoshop.
In brief, I am very capable in Adobe Photoshop.
However over the last eight years I have also gained good solid experience in page make-up and typesetting and have a good working knowledge of QuarkXPress and more recently InDesign. I also have a good understanding of the fundamentals of digital colour and its mechanical reproduction.
The key requirements of my old job were the ability to work to deadlines, attention to detail, teamwork and enthusiasm all of which I can bring to bear in your freelance jobs.
