About me

I am an enthusiastic, concept-driven designer, and I feel that I would benefit from being in a working environment that has the same design ideas as me.

I would bring, healthy, young ambition, with a good knowledge in Adobe CS and Quark express and i also have experience with illustration, hand rendering type and screen printing, I feel I am ideal candidate for this position, as I would bring young fresh ambition, and sufficient skills needed.

I have a degree in Graphic Design from Nottingham Trent University and a distinction Foundation Diploma.I have been working in the design industry for 11 months, including a 3 month work placement and 8 months at my current employer.

During this time I have had many different responsibilities including dealing with clients both in person and on the phone. I have dealt with jobs from initial designs of my own, winning the right to carry it through to the final stage and having the work printed for the client. I have juggled many different jobs at the same time and keep up with my workload and the deadlines that the work adheres to.

Sector Experience

I started there in Nov 2011, and have worked on, numerous projects, from kitchen brochures, to music label logos. It is a small company, so I am responsible for a heavy work load that I juggle, capably and efficiently. I am also entrusted with dealing with clients both in person, in email and over the phone. Having spent 6 moths there I have gained valuable experience about the inner working of studio life and, coping with many different clients., 10 week work placement at Nottingham Company Fifteen Design,, working on branding, corporate brochure, corporate literature and, website design. Working at Fifteen Design gave me a insight into real studio life. I was working on real briefs for real clients. It gave me the experience in the studio that i thrived on to beable to move forward onto an industry Graphic Design job.
