About me

I am currently employed by Taylor and Francis as a designer,
producing book covers and marketing material. In 2006 I completed a
publishing MA where I was able to develop various essential skills,
including people and project management, pre-press and production
knowledge, financing etc. I am looking to push my career in the
direction of design management where I believe my skills will enable me
to excel. In my current position I have taken a proactive approach,
taking on many extra duties that have benefited my personal development
and directly improved departmental and company processes. As well as my
main duties I have orchestrated and headed best practice presentations
for all departments, improved design studio workflows and incorporated
various systems to reduce paper in the office. I am creative director
for the company newsletter, I produced a proposal to reduce our image
costs by brokering a deal with Getty images and I was also responsible
for researching and costing our software and hardware upgrade. Feel
