About me

My name is Tasha and I live and work in London as a Freelance Graphic Designer sprinkling my magic on everything from branding to packaging to content strategy.

Practise

I've been lucky enough to spend the last six years developing my love of design into a successful career, practising and fine-tuning how I apply my style to multi-faceted briefs. In that time, I've also had the opportunity to approach creative challenges from both an agency and client's perspective which has been a steep but invaluable learning curve and puts me in great stead for future roles.

Although I could attribute my aspiration for a long career in design to creating beautiful things, I think that more than that my passion is in the ability to use design to inspire and communicate with people. I relish opportunities to transform small ideas into beautiful work that engages people and inspires change, encourages action and (if I'm successful), stays with people long after the moment has passed.

In terms of practical application, my experience has always been firmly rooted in digital design although in recent years I've had the opportunity to diverge into; art direction, content strategy, social strategy and planning. This multi-disciplined approach is something I've really enjoyed and plan on exercising this wherever opportunity presents itself in future.

Purpose

I've been on a really positive and varied journey over the last few years and as a result, I now feel ready to take on challenges with a new found focus. While I believe that a great designer's work successfully contributes to a commercial goal, I also want my 9-5 to count for more. Whether that's because my brand/s are ethical, sustainable, environmentally friendly or more! I have a strong purpose and I feel very strongly about using it to make a difference (and find like-minded people to work within the process).
