Dear Hiring Manager,

I would like to express my interest in applying for your graduate social media executive/ blogger outreach role, as I believe that I possess the required skills and attributes for this position. Since graduating from university with a 2:1 in management studies, I found that I particularly found my marketing and consumer behavior modules the most and enjoyable whilst carrying out multiple internships in both marketing and public relations departments only developed my interest even further and helped me to make an informed decision that this would be the career path I wish to pursue.

Throughout my internship at Motilo, I have had the opportunity to learn about a variety of areas within the realm of marketing such as digital, social media, direct and email marketing. One of my main goals was to maintain and increase the level of engagement among fans across a number of social media platforms along with being in charge of all social media accounts in order to maintain a consistent tone of voice and brand message. I also carried out direct marketing campaigns to strengthen brand loyalty with existing fans of the brand. Other tasks included reporting on social progress from the campaigns I was working on whilst I also carried out research reports which would be beneficial for future campaigns. Another thing I accomplished within this role was assisting with the creation of the blogger outreach program in order to build relationships with influential fashion bloggers which would in turn increase brand awareness. Additionally I assisted with the planning and execution of a brand strategy workshop in order for employees to understand the rebranding of the company.

Not only do I possess creative, communicative and ICT skills but I also have strong analytical skills such as in data collection and analysis, this was not only showcased throughout my degree but also throughout my internship at Next head office where I worked with both the buying and merchandising teams. Furthermore, I would like to work for your company, as it will provide me with the opportunity to apply all of the knowledge and skills I have learnt within a practical working environment whilst I also wish to learn more about digital areas of marketing.
