About me

Hi, I am a freelance makeup artist. I am trained in special effects and skills range from beauty makeup to horror and hair design, and everything in between! The bulk of my work experience has been in theatre and photography. I am looking to branch out into the film and television world. This is were I feel my talent would be able to blossom and grow. I am looking for new creative challenges and I can work with a low budget to create a high budget effect! Skills

I am special effects trained. My skills include - Beauty, fashion, casualty, aging, theatrical, body art... the list is endless! I am also trained in hair design. I am able to give makeup consultations and follow a designer breif.

Sector Experience

Most of my experience has been in Theatre and photography. I have also worked on a few music videos. My theatre work has been with the Royal Exchange in Manchester, where I have had to follow a breif but also include the actors ideas into the designs. This work is heavily hair based, using a lot of wigs, facial hair and the actors own hair as well. The makeup will be done by me only if it is too complicated for the actors to be shown how to do. So usually if it is an sfx look or a complicated makeup design.
