About me

Hello,

My name is Natalie and I am a 24 year old Graphic Communication graduate from Basingstoke, Hampshire.

I have spent the last 2 years working in a large format printing company as a graphic designer. Initially, my job was mostly pre-press but I moved into a managerial position since the absence of my superior just under a year ago. This meant I had the opportunity to work in a more client facing role and became the resident 'go-to' for design, artworking, branding and customer queries.

Whilst my company specialised in large format printing (exhibition/display), I often created brochures, leaflets and business cards which we would sub-let. This meant I often liased with small format printers. I believe my knowledge of the print process is a great foundation for an artworking role.

I am a competant user of Adobe CS5 and am handy on a computer (PC/OSX platforms) as I am when creating things by hand. I am enthusiastic and give my all to anything I am working on. I consider myself very 'hands-on' and was no stranger to assisting with production and finishing in my last role.

More than anything, I am willing to learn. I believe myself to have had 2 great years of job experience. However, I am now looking for a career and have recently relocated to London in a bid to find this.

I am friendly, hardworking and work well as part of a team or when taking my own initiative.

Looking for a temporary to permanent role to start ASAP.
