About me

Hi! My name is Natalie, I am from Sydney, Australia, and im just at the beginning of my working holiday.

I have a B. Design (Visual Communications) from the University of Western Sydney. I majored in Graphics and sub-majored in Publications and Advertising, where i graduated in 2004.

For the past 3 years I have been a freelance designer, producing promotional material for a few companies, and churches, that have been distributed regionally around Sydney.

For the past year I have worked in printing houses.

The last job was with 'We Print It Australia'. My role was Designer/Customer Service. I would create artworks to clients specifications, as well as check artworks, using PreFlight, to make sure they were print ready, if they didnt met our specifications, I would talk to the clients and talk them through providing print ready artwork.

Previosuly I was a pre-press designer for a local printer. My role was to check artworks are print ready, using Pit Stop, InDesign to impose files, and also created the plates using CTP.

I work on both MAC and PC platforms, the main programs I use are: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Professional. I am also able to use Microsoft programs and Corel Draw if needed.
