About me
Having graduated from a Masters in Creative Writing from The University of Manchester (December 2009), I have been steadily broadening my diverse client base, by writing copy for small businesses, including websites and biographies. My most recent client includes the National Festival Orchestra.
Since 2007, I have also worked as a freelance copywriter (in line with the in-house style) for ALC Conferencing Centre, Bradford, including the writing, proofing and editing of brochures, banners, books and pamphlets.
With seven years' teaching experience (one as the youngest Deputy Head Teacher in the ROI at twenty five) and an additional two years running a tuition franchise, I have developed many other skills complementary to a copywriting role including: project management, policy writing, newsletter writing, developing plans, updating website material, on-line research and profiling; not to mention excellent people management and mentoring skills, along with an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people types.
I believe that I possess an excellent command of the English language, combined with a meticulous eye for detail. Furthermore, I am an industrious, reliable team player with common sense, strong motivation and a resolve to work on my own initiative in order to develop any given role to its full potential.
