About me

I am a media, Culture and Communciations student who has just graduated with BA Hons from the University of Greenwich.

Over the three years I spent studying a learnt alot about Film production. I lerant how to set up camera shots, lighting formations and interviewing techniques. I also learnt how to prepare a production and how to edit it at the end.

Also over this time I have done work experience within a number of magazine houses and on a number of film sets.

I first started in Top of The Pops magazine and discovered that I really enjoyed it. I learnt alot about working within a creative office. (including taking notes, writing up interviews, writing quizzes, researching celebrities etc..) After this I worked at Gravity Guide and The Bird's nest magazine. These expereince taught me basic office skills and they also helped me to imporve my writing as I got to write a number of articles which were published.

I also worked on two different film sets. the first was for a documentary. On this set I had a lot of creative input and helped choose shots, music and order in the editing process.

I also worked on the feature film, 'The Wolfman'. On this set I had less creative input, but this allowed me to work on a larger scale production.

My aspiration is to become a producer on major motion pictures and I am looking for entry level postions which will get me (eventually) to this position.
