Dear Sir/Madam,

I have just finished studying Graphics and Illustration, specializing in Illustration, at De Montfort University in Leicester. I will be graduating in July.

I am writing to apply for this position after coming across it on creativepool.co.uk.

The job description seems to me as something I could competently do, as well as benefit from in terms of developing my skills and experiencing a professional environment.

I have a lively drawing style and a love for hand drawn typography. I am always willing to learn new techniques and better myself as an illustrator and designer.

I have a good understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.

I also have some basic experience in the creative industry from illustrating for articles in the local arts and culture magazine, FD2D.
