About me

A career related to theatre and media has been the decisive factor in all the educational and professional decisions I have ever made. This determination has been supplemented by a background of design and theatre production stage work, which progressed through my degree studies of Television and Film Production at Manchester Metropolitan University. During this time I formed an extensive knowledge of design and production management, which has evolved through professional work experience and personal projects.

My transferable skills include excellent administration and IT, I have also worked for over a year as a PA to the Managing Director and Marketing Manager for a large post production facility, so I am highly organised as well as being very reliable. I am used to an immense work load, and have a very high work ethic; I thoroughly enjoy being busy and working part of a vibrant team. Due to my additional role of front of house manager I have become efficient at delegating tasks, and I believe I have a good telephone and personal manner in regards to my colleagues and clients.

Through my professional experience I have learnt that to succeed in media requires a large culmination of skills. Due to my degree and professional knowledge of design and television I have shown that I have the ability to work within a wide variety of genres and themes. In the past I have proved that I can adapt to all the various roles and challenges put before me. I am certain as a lively, enthusiastic, good humoured individual, I can bring the mixture of practical and creative elements required to be successful within this industry and would relish the opportunity to put the skills I have gained to use.
