Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to apply for the position of Digital Content Editor for Tribal, as advertised on creativepool.co.uk.

I am an MA Communication and Journalism graduate with experience in social and online media. For two years, before coming to London, I worked as an online journalist for the most popular online local newspaper in Poland, trojmiasto.pl. I was responsible for interviewing VIPs in culture and the entertainment industry. I also used to write articles and reviews as well as publish them online as fast as possible. Here are some examples of the work I did:

The job provided me with great opportunities to develop my skills in writing, photography (taking photographs and Photoshop editing), video recording and performing in front of the camera. I attended many cultural events like film festivals, art exhibitions and design fairs. Working for Trojmiasto.pl was a valuable experience, which gave me a better idea of the direction I wanted to follow in the future.

After I came to London, I did an online marketing and PR internship in the London Festival of Photography, where I was responsible for publishing and updating content on the website. I made sure the articles were properly written, the pictures were given the final touch and the videos were professionally edited.

I am currently working as a freelance social media editor for a blog called Swap Your Home, where I write articles in English and upload pictures. I also write a blog about London in Polish, where I publish pictures, share news from London and upload self-made videos.

As a blogger and journalist I enjoy working non-standard hours, as well as ad-hoc situations. I am able to manage my work time, prioritise and work tightly to the deadlines.
