About me
Narendra has extensive experience in economics and finance, including advisory, negotiation, corporate strategy and development consultancy positions with B&F Services. At his time with the firm, Narendra partnered with the executive committee to shape the strategy for B&F Acquisitions, met with clients and led meetings alone. He stimulated discussion, learned more about the client's business, negotiated and reach an agreement to secure mandates for the firm. He also produced in depth research material for clients including a publication on the changing dynamics of the petrochemical industry and its sector financing.
Prior to this, Narendra coordinated a financial services company's £50 Million acquisition of a banking firm. He also improved the business performance, efficiency measures and revenues of an SME as a group in a consultative role.
He has gone on to produce papers presenting his thoughts on the Stalled Global Recovery Post Financial Crisis, Post Brexit Britain and more recently the Future of Central Banking to foster thought leadership and encourage dialogue among some of today's most prominent and world renowned thought leaders who are shaping the global agenda.
The latter paper was considered for an upcoming publication which will explore answers to the most pressing global issues and contemporary problems with the Credit Suisse Research Institute.
In 2013 he was awarded the prestigious Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC HOLT Partner status for a top 7% performance worldwide on valuation and stock pitching and completed the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Project Management Course.
During his time at university, Narendra was offered the opportunity to represent the world famous Team Kaobon in Muay Thai and compete for the University Combat League K1 Trophy.
Narendra was trusted to present findings orally to a group effectively and confidently at State Street Corporation. He was assigned to present on entry strategies into the UK for a financial services institution who was considering London as its European headquarters. Narendra created attractive PowerPoint slides with the right amount of detail and prepared handouts of slides in advance to minimise note-taking. Maintaining eye contact with the audience and providing an energetic, animated physical presence, he articulated clearly the findings providing compelling evidence, fielding questions to clarify points and restating key points at the end of the speech to cement key concepts at the conclusion with a logical flow and timing to his speech.
Narendra has great communication skills. He entered the Credit Suisse HOLT Valuation Challenge and delivered a stock pitch presentation on China Mobile to convince Credit Suisse to buy that particular stock. They were impressed by his enthusiasm and communication skills that they awarded him with the Credit Suisse HOLT Partner status for a top 7% performance worldwide. The ability to explain the logic and benefits of a decision and convince others that an idea makes sense is critical to closing more sales and securing repeat business.
