Dear Sir/Madam,

Please find attached my CV for the Junior artworker post which I hope highlights that I am a self-motivated, open minded , creative, practical individual, curious about how things work, be they man made or natural.

My attention to detail and accurate work ethic means that I conduct rigorous research and analysis for every project undertaken, which I have found just as enjoyable and rewarding as seeing the finished product. I have completed numerous art and graphic design commissions covering a range of subjects. The artwork is mainly through mixed media e.g. charcoal and rubber and the graphic design work has included singles and albums for bands, flyers and posters for advertising campaigns.

My ability to drive a project through hard work and determination as well as my ability to prioritise has meant I am comfortable achieving deadlines no matter how tight. I am an objective problem solver and being open to critique was a large part of the skills set I gained at university, as well as approaching projects with an open mind and creatively thinking outside the box.

Due to the nature of my degree, in addition to paying close attention to detail, the need to be highly organised and to have a strong sense of time management were essential in completing the range and type of work that was set. The ability to look at problems, no matter how small or large, to be tackled in a practical, efficient manner meant that projects were both completed on time and to a constant high standard. I am also adept at analysing and improving projects to increase their potential.

Although I enjoy the freedom of working independently, I have had a vast amount of experience working within a team environment and thoroughly enjoy the inspiration that comes from sharing ideas with other people. I have learnt that through being proactive, contributing, communication and respecting other opinions, a project's potential is instantly excelled.
