To whom it may concern;

I feel that I can bring a creative edge to any design field, so I have attached my CV for your consideration.

I first became interested in Textiles during my studies at college, which were further magnified at university; choosing to study BA (Hons) Textile Crafts. My interest in interior textiles first developed during my second year of the course, when asked to situate my work within a context. I continued to follow this interest up until graduating in July 2010. I have just finished studying on an MA programme in Textiles, which I hope will target my work towards a more commercial outcome.

I believe that working within your company; would enable me to gain experience, and the confidence I need to progress further within the industry. I currently have skills within the area of trend research, but would like to have the opportunity to expand upon these. I specialise in print, so my knowledge of pattern and surface design is up to date with current trends, but is able to be expanded further. I am confident with speaking to groups of people, and able to express my ideas with clarity. I feel that; in time; with these skills I would be suited within the field of a Buyer or a Designer; but in a shadowing role, to gain expertise.
