Years of work experience in design and living abroad helped me build a unique combination of key qualities that will lead to success in this job. I have: a) Interior, Graphic design and illustration experience in the UK, USA and Russia; b) working on different levels in all these countries; c) presence of all skills needed for the successful implementation of ideas

Experience:

As an art professional I had a unique opportunity to experience all range and levels of the design profession in different cultural environments (UK, USA, and Russia).

For the last two years I worked partially for the Aberystwyth University and partially in my own company. Working in there I developed identity and brand environment for European research grants and different University projects. While being owner of my own company I've worked with different clients from UK, USA and Russia also leading on full service projects: from developing a logo to whole brand environment including interior.

I worked in leading advertising agencies in Russia and for 10 years in the USA. In addition to managing international design work I was responsible for the development of interior design, graphic design, illustrations.

Knowledge:

I was always interested in different aspects of design. I've started 17 years ago as junior designer in a small design studio in Russia working on small architectural projects including shop facades and interiors. Then I moved to one of the largest advertising agencies in Russia and enjoyed a design career culminating in the post of a Senior Designer. There I supervised many projects including graphic and interior design, TV advertisement and even some film making. In USA I started as a freelancer then was invited as senior designer to a Publishing Company where I successfully discovered publishing world and was promoted to manager within one year.

Skills :

As I worked as a designer on different levels I accumulated a wide range of strong skills. I'm an excellent Windows PC user and I work freely under the Mac environment. As a graphic designer I'm a professional in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw and using a lot of other different graphic programmes in addition. As an interior designer I have a deep knowledge of AutoCAD and a base understanding of 3D suites. Because of my proficiency in producing computer-generated and hand drawing images I am working successfully as an illustrator.

So, in conclusion, I would like to stress three main strengths that would make me very successful and effective for this position: i) experience in almost all aspects of design; ii) knowledge of the profession in diffent levels of responsibility; iii) skills, a unique combination of which gave me the opportunity succesfully implement all my ideas.
