About me
I am a commited, flexible and a loyal person. In my previous experiences gained through employment it has helped me learn how to conduct myself and handle customers on a professional level; the roles in my employment have helped me analyse problems and overcome them with a high level of efficiency. I am a great believer of giving a 100% and nothing less. I maintain well listening skills, a courteous and a professional manner at all times, with both customers and other members of staff. I also have excellent communication skills and team working skills and am known to participate at all times.
I have completed a H.N.D in graphic design at university of Salford in September 2003 and then to further my career i went to complete my degree in design at university of Bolton.
In 2009 i volunteered for a company called Pilkingtons tiles, this gave me an opportunity to experiencing the roles of a graphic designer. At Pilkingtons tiles i was given a job of designing icons, logos, illustrations and brochure layout for hotels and swimming pools. The software i used at this placement was Adobe illustrator and Adobe InDesign with some Photoshop.
For the past 6 years i have been working as a security guard; I started this role as a contractor for Securitas, then later became an in house guard for Asda. I was nominated to become part of colleague voice, where i was assigned to look at concerns of colleague and customers and inform it back to the management team, the role also involved bringing ideas which could possible make colleague enjoy working for Asda and getting colleagues involved in activities.
Currently with any very little opportunity i have i use illustrator cs2 and InDesign cs2 at home.
