To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Nada El Barshoumi and I'm writing to apply for the position of Junior Digital Designer. I first saw the advertisement on the Creative Pool website and was immediately intrigued.

The job description appealed to me greatly as I am eager to gain valuable experience with an established agency. I also appreciate that the role incorporates a wide range of digital practices, as I am interested in and well versed in many facets of digital graphic and web design.

In terms of work ethic, I am highly motivated, hard working and always strive to deliver work to the highest standard. This has been exemplified through my good results at university and the positive feedback I received after completing a yearlong work placement at Xerox Ltd. in West London. I am truly passionate about technology and have been from a very young age. I chose to carry this through to my higher education and am currently studying Digital Media Technology BSc Hons at Nottingham Trent University. Through my studies and my work experience I have become highly proficient in several software packages within the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Flash. I also have experience with 3D modelling software 3DS Max. In terms of web technologies, I have a good working knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS and PHP as well as some experience with JavaScript, PERL and MySQL. In terms of context management systems, I am well experienced with WordPress - which I use for my personal blog.

Above all, I am an analytical and creative problem solver. I excel at applying a creative flair to technical solutions, which I believe makes me an ideal candidate for this role.
