I'm Nacho Igea, a young digital compositor looking for my first opportunity in the VFX industry, I have been using Nuke for one and a half years in different master courses and personal projects.
Before I started learning Nuke I studied a degree in telecommunications engineering and worked as a software quality assurance engineer for two years, then I realized I wanted to do a more creative job and related to VFX. So I quit my job and started studying Nuke and other post-production softwares.
I am looking for my first opportunity in the VFX industry as a compositor where I can keep learning and improving the quality of my work. I have been working for two years as a software quality assurance engineer, because of that I have a strong technical background. I have been learning Nuke for two years now in different master courses and I consider myself ready to assume the responsibilities of a junior compositor.
I am a really hard working person who wants to learn as much as I can. In fact, apart from learning Nuke I also like environment modeling, that's why I am starting with Blender (with modeling, texturing, lighting..) and it helps me to understand the CG pipeline and how it affects the compositor's work.
