About me
I have always been a creative, and followed an artistic path from secondary school. I went on a voyage of artistic discovery after school, studying jewellry on a Foundation Course in Art and Design, then a HND in 3D Design, and finally a Degree in Ceramics. I experienced a lot of different disciplines through this time, but discovered that graphics was the thing that I naturally gravitated to, leading me to teach this as part of my work in Secondary school teaching. I have continued developing from here into illustration, and most recently 2d animation. I am currently developing skills in Blender.
A desire to travel, and document what I experienced, got me into writing - which then led me to write about what I loved - music and gigs, and then about London for a variety of websites and blogs. I have interviewed famous electronic artists, reviewed at festivals both in the UK and Europe, and my live shots have received a fair amount of praise.
I am now an independent electronic musician, sound artist and illustrator. I have recently had a piece played during Radiophrenia's 2 week radio programme, and pre-Covid had performed a sound art piece as part of a duo at the Hundred Years Gallery in Hoxton, as well as djing/ vjing and playing live electronics around London at venues such as the Social, Proud Galleries and the Alibi over the last 10 years or so. Highlights of my time in music so far have been having one of my tracks featured on the Computer Music cover disc, being played live on an Arts music radio station in London, and performing to a packed room at Proud Galleries, Camden. I have most recently dj'ed at Iklectik and Boat Live.
