About me

I graduated with honors from the University of Central Oklahoma with my Bachelors of Fine Arts (Graphic Design Major). I studied under the talented and inspirational James Watson, Larry Hefner, Keith Webb, and Rukmini Ravikumar. I started my career during college as an intern for an Oklahoma City based full-service advertising agency. After graduation in 2006 I joined the agency's creative team as an Art Director focusing on creative concepts, branding, and advertising design. While at the agency I gained experience in logo design, print design, outdoor design, TV advertising, and radio advertising.

In 2008 I started designing for a design group, a group comprised of designers, programmers, developers, project managers, and account executives. I was the companies Senior Graphic Designer and I design for some of Oklahoma's largest tourism attractions, non profits, new business start-ups, and retailers.

In 2010 I started a blog about creativity. I turned my blog into myheartcreative and started offering design services to clients in 2014. Today, myheartcreative is a thriving design studio with clients in Oklahoma, across the US, and beyond. myheartcreative is known for its boutique website designs, exceptional logo work, and full service creative marketing.
