About me
I'm a UK-based visual artist and illustrator working primarily in pen, ink, watercolour, and oil. My work explores architecture, heritage, and classic design, often drawing inspiration from historic buildings, urban environments, and vintage automobiles. I'm particularly interested in the emotional connections we form with place, craftsmanship, and time, and I aim to reflect those themes through fine detail, texture, and atmosphere in my drawings.
Since 2021, I've been steadily building a body of work that sits between fine art and illustrative practice, exhibiting in local shows, selling prints and originals, and collaborating on commissions that range from bespoke architectural portraits to automotive artworks. My practice is grounded in traditional draftsmanship but shaped by contemporary storytelling, with a focus on making art that is accessible, evocative, and thoughtfully crafted.
In the gallery space, I've supported exhibition installs, cataloguing, and artist liaison work, including volunteering at the Glasgow Art Club and Pasley Art Institute. I've also taken on freelance work curating digital portfolios, preparing work for print, and assisting with social media storytelling and communication. I enjoy roles that combine hands-on creativity with project support, especially within artist-led spaces or socially engaged initiatives.
My freelance commissions are often collaborative, whether I'm working with a collector, an estate agent looking to capture a unique property, or a car enthusiast wanting a custom piece. I love getting to know the personal stories behind each subject, and I aim to create artwork that people connect with and treasure.
When I'm not at the drawing board, I contribute to creative projects through transcription, digital archiving, and project coordination. I've volunteered remotely with community justice and mental health initiatives, helping ensure that creative voices and personal histories are preserved and heard.
Whether you're a gallery seeking new work or an individual after a one-of-a-kind piece, I bring care, consistency, and a deep respect for process to everything I do. I'm open to exhibitions, collaborations, and freelance projects across the UK, and always keen to connect with others who value thoughtful, story-driven art.
