About me

I am a senior graphic designer based in Syria, also with experience
in the field of animtion and film and with 5 years of experience
working both freelance and for in-house graphic design companies and
commercial advertising and design agencies in Syria.

I have worked in a range of work environments which include large
commercial companies like Audi Syria, Maxfactor makeup and British
Council. Desiging campaigns, corporate identities and logos that have
been displayed in a range of media, from television and websites to
outdoor advertising and indoor POS materials.

I have also worked for a number of non-profit organisations,
creating promotional material to raise public awareness and media
attention for events, donations and campaigns for specific causes.

I have worked with a variety of UK charities VSO (Voluntary Service
Overseas), faith and culture charity Grassroots Luton and local British
Museum projects, as well as for a number of local and national Syrian
charities and organisations.

I have also branched out into animation, creating my own short
animation film in 2008, which has been screened at numerous Middle
Eastern film and cultural festivals, including Tunisian film festival
in 2009 and Damascus Capital of Arab Culture festival in 2008.

I am looking to work in the UK to expand on my graphic design and
animation skills, as well as develop new skills in these fields, which
I feel I will gain from the UK's very dynamic and pioneering graphic
design and animation industry.
