About me

I currently work as a freelance photographer and digital retoucher following graduation from a Bachelors Degree and a Masters in Photographic Studies. In my freelance commissions I have worked as a photographer, lighting director, and high end retoucher for varying clients. This has involved work for larger corporate companies (such as BP, Mini Cooper and Bovis Lend Lease) through to high-end digital postproduction for individual advertising and editorial photographers.

I have extensive professional working experience as a retoucher having worked at Rapid Eye Digital, one of the leading London-based post production agencies for editorial, advertising and fashion photography. Following this I have worked as a freelance retoucher for the past few years on projects for many established photographers and clients including Matthew Stylianou, Claire Jessica Weiat and most recently The Royal Opera House and Ruby Red Cosmetics. I am especially skilled with Adobe Photoshop CS3 with excellent techniques in digital manipulation, colour management for web and print, CMYK conversion and image enhancement.

Working as a photographer I am extremely adaptable and proficient in differing working situations. I have developed a high level of technical knowledge across various mediums from digital photography (including Phase One and Leaf digital backs) through to film (35mm, 120mm and 5x4), both in studio or on location. I can work equally well on Mac and PC, using both in my own work.
