About me
Since completing university in 2005, I have focussed rounding out my formal education. On paper, I am a producer with 2 years experience, working for a freelance advertising photographer in Sydney. However in practice, I have also participated in shoots as a photographer, digital operator and retoucher, as well as attending AWARD school (the Australian equivalent of D&AD School).I have produced many shoots for advertisements that ran Australia wide and were shot both in studio and on location. They involved multiple personnel, from stylists, models and makeup artists, to dog handlers, bus drivers and scuba divers.
My previous positions have always involved a high level of client contact, and I am extremely comfortable with client liaison. I am experienced at booking and liaising with third party suppliers. I was responsible for the set up and running of an interstate office for 6 months. I am extremely proficient with Photoshop and C1Pro, have a thorough understanding of InDesign and the MS Office suite, as well as having a basic understanding of Illustrator.
My professional experience has been entirely digital. I have extensively used Phase One (H10, H25 and P25) digital backs on Hassleblad, Fuji GX860 and Digiflex platforms. I also have limited experience using the Horseman SW-D and Mamiya 645AFD. I have frequently shot on Nikon and Fuji 35mm digital cameras, and on occasion used Canon. I have professionally shot using Profoto, Elinchrom and Broncolor studio lighting.
