About me
I have been working as a Graphic Designer/Print Finisher for 6 years. I am a bubbly, hardworking, organised individual who strives to meet deadlines and works well under pressure. I work well with others as well as on my own sharing my creative flare into projects as I have high attention to detail, producing designs to the highest quality.
I am highly skilled with both MAC and Windows and have comprehensive knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and the use of other programs Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint and some knowledge in Adobe After Effects.
My key duties and responsibilities include the following:-
- Meeting with customers to discuss their needs and developing suitable concepts.
- Emailing proofs and responding to emails.
- Estimating the amount of time needed to complete projects.
- Designing different types of illustrations or logos from hand sketches to vector images
suitable for print and website use.
- Photo editing using Adobe Photoshop CC.
- Producing creative layouts using suitable typefaces and colour swatches.
- Setting up artwork for digital print understanding the use of CMYK and SPOT colours.
- Setting up colour separations and trapping for the lithographic plates.
- Artworking customer's original design/artwork which includes adding bleed and creating any text to
outlines making sure it is set up for print.
- Designing labels for companies such as Burberry and Nudo Sushi.
My roles include designing and amending business stationery such as letterheads, business cards, compliment slips, posters, leaflets and large format print such as fence banners or pop up banners. This includes creating different types of logos and illustrations from hand sketched drawings to vector images.
I am currently seeking a new job in graphic design/creative artworker and I am also branching out as a freelance illustrator.
I am up for a new challenge :)
