About me

I am a freelance professional textile artist and designer/craftsman specialising in Ottoman style kaftans, jackets and decorative throws and wallhangings.

Cultural textiles and ceramics have always attracted me - they are usually very colourful, echoing the culture and environment and have a spontaneous quality; their patterns are full of memory and metaphor and link us to a mutual past. My area of research is the historian development of Ottoman textiles and design

I am very experienced making Interior soft furnishings and garments and use these skills to create bespoke textile products.

I develop my own surface pattern designs that I use to create exciting textiles for a range of products.

I have exhibited my textiles at the Mall Galleries and Hoxton Arches.

I am looking for freelance work.
