About me
Hello!
I have loved movies all my life and they are the reason for my existence. I have been searching and searching and felt like I belonged nowhere until I found this beautiful art called filmmaking.
I grew up watching every film I could get my hands on. There's a grand variety of films that I like from short, feature, fiction, animation and of course documentary. I made my first big break when participating as a Co-Director and Actor in Life In A Day (2011) it has inspired me to make a feature documentary of my own called More Than Numbers (2014) for which I received a Special Achievement award at an international festival in 2015.
I have always been inspired to follow the dream of making films that matter and are able to change the world. My passion for this form of art lead me to first learn how to film and edit on my own - at first photographs that I took - and then short films that I shot. Later on I started editing teasers and trailers to the music I found interesting.
I'm so interested in filmmaking and video editing that I spend every single vacation at workshops: directing, editing, animation, ... because I want to further my practical knowledge even more. I also take a number of online courses whenever I can and seek new trends. And all this work really payed off when I was accepted to the most esteemed Film Academy in Slovenia: AGRFT. I'm now finishing my Masters Degree in Film and Television by making my own feature documentary - a biopic - it's nearly finished but it will still need some time.
As follows I present my skills and experiences:
- I have more than 10 years experience in video and film production in an in-house studio that I singlehandedly build from the bottom up - preproduction, production and post production (script, filming, directing, editing, choosing music, animation, distributing, storage, archive)
- I have more than 10 years experience in working with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (first I started on AVID then switched to Adobe)
- I have more than 10 years experience in composing, recording and mixing music (I mainly use Cubase)
- I have more than 10 years experience in creating video content for YT and FB and more than 5 years experience in creating video content for IG
- I have a certified C2 native level in English language
- I have a certified B1 level in German language
- I love an international working environment and anything to do with film
- I have more than 10 years of experience filming with a variety of SONY cameras (from DV, HD, full HD and 4K models)
- I also have more than 10 years of experience in project management of very different teams (film, video, marketing, IT)

Recently I obtained a CINO certificate that I'm really proud of because it rounds up my 7 years of experience in leading the in-house innovation process.
Since it seems all the content surfaces on Social networks I output a lot of ad re-cuts and re-formats (1:1, 9:16). Also I've done a number of video localisations not only editing but also animation.
I do extremely well in versatile working conditions because I like a good challenge. If I don't know how to do something I research how to do it and I don't give up on and issue that needs to be solved. I deliver the best results under pressure and I welcome juggling many different projects. I love a great story because I believe great stories save lives and what's more I believe my purpose is to tell stories, make films and videos that tell great stories. When life hands me a problem - I do everything and anything to get it solved. My traits that I would point out are loyalty, responsibility, perseverance, motivation, curiosity and extreme passion for what I do.
