Job Reference: Junior/Middleweight Project Manager

I would like to apply for the above referenced position. Please find attached a copy of my CV along with this short covering letter.

I am a creative but organised individual. Through my studies and different jobs, I have gained experience in a wide variety of commercial skills including events planning, publicity, marketing, sales, man-management and administration. Through my work with the Filmmakers Education Trust I have had to deal with legal contracts and government policy. Carrying out a variety of roles has lead me to be flexible and adaptable and I have had to learn new procedures quickly in order to be effective.

I work well in a team situation and am confident in leading other members. I am very good at multitasking and have never been scared to challenge myself. I am computer literate and am competent with the Microsoft Office Suite and have experience organising and maintaining databases. I have basic level training on Final Cut Pro and have been an assistant editor on several short films.

I am very good at managing a complex diary and logistical tasks such as booking accommodation and transportation. I have a strong research background and have found that this has made me very useful to employers in the past. I am also very good on the phone, at public speaking and presentations. I am used to managing tight budgets and having deal with financial spreadsheets and reports.

Having been brought up in Monaco, I speak fluent French and would love to learn another language. This upbringing exposed me to a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and an opportunity to network. During my time living in Monaco I also was a volunteer at some big events including, The World Music Awards, The Monte Carlo Open, and many private functions and fund raisers.

Since finishing my Masters Degree in Film and Television Production I have been developing the charity that I set up but it is now functioning well enough that I can move on to future projects. I am now looking for a job that will push me and utilise the range of skills that I have acquired over the years. I am also looking to relocate to London. I believe that this job would be the ideal opportunity to further my career and hope that you will consider my application.
