About me
I've been working in marketing research prior to knowing about the user experience field and found it while I was attempting to create a mobile app for an idea that I had. My project failed and I was eager to find out what it was that I had done wrong and ever since I have been on a self-development journey. I had my first official role as a UX designer in 2015 and I have not looked back ever since. I am constantly learning from the different situations I have been put in at work as it is in this field. I understand the importance of blending business strategy with UX, working towards a desirable outcome for both the business and its users. I am also experienced in designing for accessibility, and ensure that a business adheres to such guidelines as not doing so can have legal ramification. My strength is empathy, a genuine interest in making a difference and looking for the most efficient shortcuts to achieve desirable outcomes. My weakness is organising my desktop and the number of tabs I have open on chrome, but I somehow manage to find things eventually!
