About me
I am Mohamed Haaziq Ali, a Law School Graduate from the University of Birmingham. As a Film school graduate and a working Television Producer, an academic switch to Law school seems to be an odd one. However I did so with the aim of polishing my skillset and expanding my professional perspective. In the media industry, I have been involved in over 100 hours of television content that have reached millions of viewers locally and internationally. Today, after completing my LLB at the University of Birmingham and at I have 10 years of working experience. I have been given the honour of interviewing and presenting for heads of state, politicians and key figures from around the world.
I was nominated to be a Pitch Presenter where I would pitch concepts to networks and negotiate with clients. I was nominated for this role specifically due to the fact that I understand the different problems within the various departments and that when I pitch I tell stories. I am fluent in English, Tamil and spoken Malay, this has allowed to me to travel globally and work on a diverse range of projects. My legal experience came in useful when I had to prepare freelancers' and clients' contracts. During my 2 years in the Army I was awarded with the honour of achieving the Best Recruit award and the appointment of Sergeant Major in Military Parades. I served as a Sergeant in the 9th Army Maintenance Base. This taught me regimentation, discipline and as a Sergeant, I had to wear many hats when conducting trainings for recruits and cadets. I have also been part of the organising team of Singapore's annual Ramadhan Bazaar in 2018 and 2019, which attracted around 4 million people over the two years.
