About me

Hi, my name is Marco Monteiro, I'm an artist and a designer with more than 20 years of experience in publicity and communication as a illustrator, graphic designer, art director and user interface designer. Graduated in Visual Arts by the University of Brasilia (UnB), I have also attended masters degree in archeology and rock art at the University of Lisbon, and currently i'm doing a PHD in Art History Theory at the University Nova de Lisboa. My work as designer has always focused creativity and innovation, trying to offer objective and unique communication solutions. I believe that the challenge to the artist and to the designer is to translate needs and wishes, using his work, transforming these into simple, functional and attractive solutions.
