I design carefully cultivated brands and engaging infographics for individuals and industries. My mission is to help businesses nurture their brands through print, digital design, and accessible, engaging data visualisation.
Ideas and information can often be difficult to communicate. What, where, and how these concepts have communicated all influence the magnitude your message will have on your target market. Through graphic design, I translate technical data into attractive and accessible infographics and interpret ideas into effective identity design. Just like ideas and information, projects can often become complex with many moving parts and unforeseen elements. My working approach is upfront, honest and logical, with routine updates and quality checks throughout. A simple proposal outlines what is needed from both parties providing flexibility and clarity.
I've had the privilege of working alongside many businesses. Creating and nurturing brands for small start-ups and sole traders such as AllbreedsPets and Everyday Exploring is rewarding as I get to see the project grow and bloom. I also produce work for larger organisations like Scottish Enterprise, SCCS, and Acorn CCS; businesses that require diagrams, infographics, and presentations.
I developed my design experience whilst studying product design with my first job in the packaging industry.
This provides me with a unique approach and expanded understanding when tackling a new project - knowledge about designing products and their packaging helps me to connect the identity design to form stronger brands.
