About me

I am a highly experienced Creative Retoucher looking for a new career opportunity. I have worked in the Print and Publishing industry for over 21 years and have developed an advanced skill set and knowledge base in this field. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and believe my passion has driven me forward to becoming a successful and diverse Creative Retoucher, with a keen eye for detail.

My skills include extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and retouching techniques. I have also had responsibility for delegating relevant work to my team members and managing the outsourcing of retouching work overseas. My experience demonstrates my ability to communicate well and work creatively to meet individual client needs to a high standard.

For the past 6 years I have been working as a Creative Retoucher within the pre-media department at Hearst UK. I worked closely with Art Directors of many high end titles including Elle Decoration, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire and Elle - working on front cover images, main features and promotional material. I also enjoyed liaising with the in-house photographic studio, consulting the photographers on post image options.
