About me

I'm a freelance website designer, illustrator
and graphic designer based in Leeds, Yorkshire. I design and build high
quality, web standards compliant, search engine friendly websites which
are highly individual and creative.

I specialise in illustration based website design as well as
producing custom digital illustrations designed for the web. I produce
custom design e-newletters / e-flyer for company mailers. If you are a
new business or start-up company I offer logo design and corporate
branding to give your new organisation a highly professional feel. I
have been designing websites for over six years within a studio
environment and freelance and have worked with a large number of
clients. I am a passionate design with a keen eye for detail and
believe in high quality professional work, so please contact me with

Skills

I design high quality concepts using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator, producing unique and creative designs which have been optimised for the web and show consideration for usability and accessibility. I implement websites using hand-coded HTML and CSS to produce sites which are W3C compliant, for added interactivity I can produce Flash movies, embedded media and jQuery functionality., I also design and implement email templates for e-newsletters / e-flyers / mailers. These are hand-code in HTML to tailor for email use and are tested with all the major email clients.

Sector Experience

I have over 5 years studio experience designing and building websites. The work I have done in-house has been predominately for large charitable organisations and the third sector, although freelance work has mainly been for music and technology, as well as local business.

Awards

I graduated from the Hull School of Art and Design, University of Lincoln with a 2:1 BA (hons) in Graphic Design and then went on to the University of Hull where I graduated with a MSc in Website Design and Development at Distinction level.
