About me
I am a budding young costume designer with an an abundance of communication skills and oodles of enthusiasm, in July 2005 i finished studying a degree in theatre performance design at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
The year has gone by like a whirlwind, full of creative and
imaginative jobs, from designing fairytale costumes for a children's play, making a western film, with period cow boy costumes, to the latest film, set in present day Iraq.
I love the buzz of costume departments, working to deadlines and using my organisational and managerial skills, I live and breathe costume.
I have recently been working at the royal opera house as a workroom assistant working on alterations, but i also have a strong making ability, and am now branching into supervision at the ROH.
I really thrive on making costumes, props and sets that compliment every aspect of the performance.
I have been working successfully in Liverpool and have recently moved to London to make a go of it and would love this opportunity to meet more creative people in London .
I hope to hear from you in the future.
