About me
To whom it may concern,
Please consider this to be my application to your ‘Receptionist' vacancy as advertised on the “*” website.
I graduated (with excellent grades and ahead of schedule) in “Graphic Design” in Amsterdam.
Recently I have relocated from Amsterdam to London. I have moved here permanently.
Since moving to London I have been employed by “Studio-52” in London, as a “volunteer- intern” and have received a part-time job offer within the studio and I now work as a freelancer as well. I really enjoy working at Studio 52 and as a freelancer but I am currently looking for a job that will provide me with more fixed hours and a chance to further develop my personal development. I'm ready for something new, a challenge! As I do have experience in administration and customer services, which I've gained in my previous jobs (also in my voluntary internship here in the UK), I hope that I'll be given the chance to further develop these skills. I feel that this position you have vacant offers the chance for me to contribute towards the needs of the company and at the same time work towards my personal goals. I am confident that I can add value to your company and I can commit to full-time employment. In this respect I'm willing to give up my work at the studio for this opportunity.
I'd welcome the chance to meet with you in order to learn more about the company and the people that work there and to give you the opportunity to find out that I am truly enthused by this job, that I am very outgoing and social, positive, have a flexible can-do mind-set and am willing to learn new things. Hopefully you will consider me as a candidate. If after meeting you would care to take references, I can provide multiple referees from my previous and current employment in both the Netherlands and the UK.
I have attached my CV and look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Miss Mirjam Vergeer
