About me

I am a multidisciplinary visual communicator/designer with a passion for for visual arts and a keen interest in advertising and literature. Since 2010, I have been focusing on cultural trends in Europe through collaborations with academics and professionals. As a designer I enjoy aspects such as branding, advertising and editorial design. I work with a range of techniques include drawing, photography, collage and print. Heavily influenced by observation of the everyday, my outcomes are based on creating bold visuals and ideas that have a strong concept as well as a sense of humor and element of surrealism. Many of my self-initiated projects explore themes such as identity, lifestyle, consumerism and wordplay.

Trained as communication designer at IED Madrid and obtained an MSc in Marketing Management from the Luiss Business School in Rome before working as Jr art director at *S,c,p,f Madrid managing commissions from IKEA, BMW, Nokia, Banco Sabadell and William Hill. After working as Brand strategist for JK Architects in high street regeneration projects I founded with my girlfriend Eva Aleman Mc&a lab, a London based creative and design studio with projects related to identity, branding, communication and visual arts across Italy, Spain and the UK. We deliver intelligent bespoke design solution and advice to a wide range of clients, from individuals to large organizations, including start-up businesses, professionals, academics, artists and community groups.
