About me
I would like to be considered for the position of Senior Designer.
As an enthusiastic, well organised designer with experience of working on established brands in the publishing sector at The Architects Journal and the Royal College of Nursing Publishing Company, I have the knowledge and understanding of how to produce a range of offline and online publishing needs including magazines, journals, infographics, logos and brand guidelines, reports, illustrations, forms and leaflets using a wide range of media, including photography and illustration as required.
As a team player I am able to thrive in a hectic and demanding environment. Utilising excellent communication skills, I have developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external staff.
I have a sound knowledge of the production process, using Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, along with skills in Microsoft suite.
I am familiar and understand how best to work within strong brand guidelines and consistently aim to improve creative techniques and output. Having a keen eye for design i'm always eager to keep abreast of the latest design innovations and bring fresh ideas to the group.
As a result of working at the Royal College of Nursing, I feel I have an understanding of the quality demanded from the position and would appreciate the opportunity to take on the responsibility. I have attached my CV and examples of my previous work.
