About me

I am a conscientious worker, who has learned all the skills I have today on the job. Working for a small company, I have been able to experience all areas of the graphic design world. I have worked creatively with advertising, book design, merchandising, posters, logo design, brand development and within strict corporate guidelines. Product design has also been an area that I have had to conquer as many products I have worked on needed to be bespoke for the market these items were aimed at. Packaging and box design needed for such items is also an area that I have experienced and appreciate. I have created many adverts and brochures for various companies that all desire a different approach when it concerns their advertising. Working with premiership rugby clubs to the pharmaceutical industry has given me a broad range of experience in dealing with certain treatments and messages that need to be conveyed to their audience both subtly or loudly. It has also given me the opportunity to create artwork when under the strict eye of brand guidelines. Working for a small company has taught me to have great attention to detail when concerning my creative as I have to be responsible for my own print jobs and quality of artwork. I have to be meticulous to ensure a professional outcome. I am used to considering the materials that my artwork will adorn and aware that artwork will need to be adjusted in certain circumstances. I keep up-to-date with software ensuring that I will always get the best results and my interest in fashion, the fine arts, film and music is always an inspiration to my creative work. I am conscious of contemporary styles and translate that into all areas of my life as well as my work. I am a big fan of fashion and follow it closely as I feel that this is the most accessible, widely appreciated form of art. I am comfortable with strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
