About me

Hello,

I'm a graphic design manager with 9+ years of diversified experience in the field of graphic design. I have worked as an art-director, designer for the print and web media, themes designer for gaming products and have done professional video compositing (video effects) for the film industry. I was responsible for the interface skinning and improvements for various Playtech's products and have strong interest in further work in the field of UIUX and themes design. I also look forward to the possibility of applying my skills on varied mediums such as mobile and tablet.

My broad understanding of the various aspects of graphic design help me carry a design from conception to completion. My software proficiency is outstanding and because of my technical expertise I was able to reduce certain production timeframes in Playtech by up to 40%.

I'm extremely strict in producing pixel-perfect artwork and yet unrestricted when it comes to presenting novel ideas to lay out content and create stunning visuals.

Liaising with developers is something that I've been doing for the past 9 years in every position that I've had and speaking their language is something that I've perfected.

Working as a manger has helped me further develop my time and project management skills and I'm always looking for opportunities to grow and prove myself on new levels.

In addition to my varied experience in all fields of visual design, I have a strong interest and understanding in Interaction Design and User Experience. I am well versed in fundamental psychology concepts such as Gestalt psychology and the work of Vygotsky and its implications for UX (in terms of scaffolding etc.) I'm always striving to present evidence for all proposals that I put forward in terms of design patterns, statistics on tested approaches, heat maps, AB tests etc.

I've had training on managing people and applying different managerial styles. I know how to handle and manage teams of different personality types and how to bring out the best of every team member effortlessly.

I've been responsible for the project management in my team and I've worked along project managers on projects involving other teams and I'm fluent in different PM methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum and mixed approaches.
