About us

Mile High Films is an Emmy-winning video production company based in Denver, Colorado, specializing in cinematic storytelling for brands, agencies, and organizations nationwide. Founded and led by director Chris Barron, we bring over two decades of experience producing commercials, PSAs, documentaries, and branded films that connect with audiences through authentic emotion and visual excellence.

Our work spans industries—from national campaigns and corporate events to feature-length documentaries and motorsports coverage. Whether capturing the intensity of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, the compassion of a community PSA, or the innovation behind a global brand, Mile High Films approaches every project with precision, creativity, and heart.

We partner with agencies and in-house marketing teams to deliver full-service production—from concept and scripting through filming, editing, and delivery. Our crew network is scalable to fit any budget or scope, and our reputation for professionalism, storytelling, and on-time delivery has made us a trusted partner across the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.

Recent work includes the feature documentary Race/America, the television series Race to the Clouds with Robb Holland for MAVTV and RACER+, and multiple award-winning PSAs for Water—Use It Wisely, Scottsdale Water, and South Metro Fire Rescue.

Mile High Films is where cinematic craft meets professional execution—delivering films that inspire, inform, and endure.
