About me
Mike is an award-winning designer, fusing creative and strategic expertise in the creation and development of physical and digital products and experiences.
He works throughout the creative process: from project scoping, research, ideas and vision at the front end; to the creation, development and delivery of design concepts at the back end.
A car design graduate, Mike cut his teeth working as an industrial designer at Sebastian Conran Associates and Conran + Partners.
He then joined Seymourpowell, where he was an Associate Director. His expertise expanded to include structural brand packaging before focusing on innovation. He was responsible for scoping and delivering expansive global projects, and led multi-disciplinary teams of researchers and designers.
His work with these companies was recognised by awards: two DBA Design Effectiveness, two Red Dot, two Starpack, two Millennium Products, two Gold medals from European Salons, a Horners for the innovative use of plastics, and commendations from Design Week and Marketing Week.
From 2014 he was director of TheOverworld, where he began applying his expertise to digital innovation, from startups to large organisations.
He consults for creative and strategic agencies.
