Hello. My name is Mike Oliveras and I am a hardworking and reliable creative with a set of skills and experience valuable to many business and industries. I work efficiently as part of a team or independently and have great time-management skills. I am upbeat and entertaining to be around whilst responsible and always completely focused on the task at hand. I tirelessly work to the best of my abilities and actively seek to learn new skills and concepts revolving around art and design, wherever they may be.
I studied at the University for the Creative Arts Maidstone graduating with a 2.1 in Graphic Media. Afterwards, I honed my personal skills through a number of freelance projects until taking a position at a London based agency part of the WPP Group where I was introduced to the world of corporate artworking whilst working with many blue chip corporations.
I possess extensive technical skill and experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint. With additional knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Cinema 4D, CTRL Print, Sitecore, the Internet and Email/Blogging systems. I am capable of incorporating traditional mediums in my work such as watercolours, pastels, markers, crafts and colour/monotone pencils. At a London based agency, part of the WPP Group, I have worked on projects with many high profile clients including British Land, Diageo, FIFA, IHG and The London Stock Exchange (full list of clients upon request). At the end of my University course, my final project was showcased by various third parties including the European distributor of a Japanese videogame company. I have good crowd speaking skills and demonstrated these whilst giving a presentation as a creative advisor to Sony Music. My interests include art and design, technology, basketball, manga, anime and gaming.
