I am writing to express my interest in your posting for an artworker. I would like to apply for this position as I believe that my qualifications and abilities parallel your description perfectly.

I graduated from the University of the Creative Arts with a BA Hons in Graphic Media. This course covered a wide range of artistic disciplines for commercial use, the most notable of these is advertising material, in store collateral and business stationary. This has enabled me to develop and hone a wide variety of skills in the field of digital and technical artwork, leading me to be proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign amongst other programs. I am also a self taught illustrator that can create artwork in a variety of styles and with traditional mediums. I am able to combine the two skill sets together to create artwork that share the qualities of both. Also, working with both disciplines has allowed me to adapt to any given brief and even develop new styles to fit the requirements.

As such, my abilities have a great deal of flexibility and I have gained a keen eye for both fine details and full scale compositions as well as the utilisation of full colour or complete monotone imagery. In addition, I am very well capable of working as part of a team in order to give and receive new and fresh ideas. As well as independently in order to maximise my self management skills. This has resulted in my working with graphic designer Vincent McEvoy and the British Wrestling Evolution organisation for different commissioned projects.
