About me

I am a Broadcast Media (Design & Technology) graduate from Brunel University currently looking for a role that will allow me to use and develop my existing skill set in motion graphic production and design. The course itself encompasses video production, editing, green screen compositing, motion graphics and 3D. I am competent in a wide range of production and postproduction skills with a particular passion for video and animated graphics.

During the 4-year course I completed a 9-month placement at Telefónica O2 UK which involved producing a number of internal video and animation projects whilst abiding by the strict company brand guidelines. A large number of projects had an open brief, requiring me to engage throughout the pre production, production and post production stages in small teams with inter-changing roles. I was also required to work with various internal teams, such as Branding, Networks and Innovation, providing me with an understanding of the demands of different areas of the company. This experience allowed me to help develop my production skills and provide me with an understanding of a professional working production environment with a key focus on branding and graphic communication.

Alongside professional work I also pursue a keen interest in video, highlighted by taking part in the 46 Hour Film Jam. A short film competition which required myself and two others to write, shoot and edit a film within a 46 hour period. This challenge was particularly effective in helping in team development as well as the development and creation of concise ideas that would be entertaining within a short film context.

I am particularly interested in creative branding and graphic design, as well as the potential for active on the job development. I am always looking to further develop my graphics skills through the production of short test pieces, exploring various techniques and effects. I believe I can bring an understanding of branding, team communication as well as an enthusiastic and passionate approach alongside a large number of graphic and video production skills learnt both academically and professionally.

All examples of my work can be found at my online portfolio, *, including my final year project Washers & Sundries. A short film that mixes both live video and animated characters. The project itself was edited and produced using Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects. Please feel free to get in touch regarding any questions
