About me

Hello,

My name is Mike (known as Michael) Malan. I hail from Cape Town, South Africa. Just recently relocated to London on an Ancestral (VAF2) Visa.

My experience of design/creative/media is rather limited, but I have, in some jobs, been able to use my creativity to tweak PowerPoint presentations, create pamphlets/brochures, letterheads and other media as required by my then employer.

I have some experience on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat. Again, this is limited, as I mainly dabble in my spare time.

Ideally I'd like to work within the Creative/Media/Advertising Industry as a Projects Assistant or Administrator. I am prepared to work my way up in the Industry and understand that this will require hard work, and maybe even some additional training/studying.

I am a Jazz Musician, I play Piano/Keyboards, and so am fuelled by all things creative. I have a rather quirky outlook on life, but am able to put my head down and work until a project is successfully completed, but still maintaining my sense-of-humor.
