About me

I am a designer, illustrator & photographer with over 10 years industry experience.
Throughout my career I have managed all facets of the design process from product vision, strategy and conceptualisation through to design and delivery. On a daily basis I manage design and delivery teams, engage with external assets and work internally with designers and stakeholders.
For the past 6 months, since finishing a 10-year full time position at Lonely Planet Publications, I have primarily been focusing on my freelance design business - Mik Ruff Design, which I developed in 2006. My business provides a diverse range of services including Art Direction, Product Development, Branding, Campaign Design, Marketing, Digital Publishing and Print Solutions. At all times I efficiently and effectively manage competing deadlines, stakeholder expectations and delivery against identified outputs. Past clients have included Mc Laren Real Estate, The Wiggles, ABC, AFL and Electric Pictures.
